Our first waves are in testing

We have a full lake of water and we have been testing waves.  It was a very big moment for the team as the first surfing waves rolled down the lake and the dream became a reality.

Crowdfunder preview events during testing

During our warm- phase we'll be running some test sessions reserved for Crowdfunders. These will be run before we open to help us get ready operationally and will be on fixed dates and times. They’ll be available on a first-come-first served basis.

Build update - our waves, lake and technology

On an ordinary day, when we open, we’ll have three different waves rolling at any one time. The sets are every 10 seconds and range from gentler waves for beginners to larger waves for expert surfers. A ten second power on ride is a long wave for the vast majority of people here in the UK.

Engineering at the heart of The Wave
