General Terms and Conditions for Promotions and Discounts

General

1. Unless otherwise specified, promotions and/or discount offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

2. Selected surf sessions may be excluded; please see details of the offer or promotion for further information.

3. Any refunds / cancellations will take into account the discount applied as part of the offer; please see details of the offer or promotion for further information.

4. The Wave reserves the right to decline to accept a booking where, in its reasonable opinion, a promotion or discount is invalid for the booking being made.

5. The Wave reserves the right to change these terms and conditions or withdraw a discount or promotion at any time on reasonable notice.

6. Unless otherwise specified, all bookings made as part of any offer or promotion shall be subject to our Booking Terms and Conditions.

7. You are strictly prohibited from re-selling or transferring any surf sessions purchased as part of any offer or promotion without our prior written consent. Any breach of this condition will make any associated bookings void.

8. These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

THE WAVE WSL FANTASY LEAGUE COMPETITION – TERMS AND CONDITIONS  

  These terms and conditions explain the rules for participating in The Wave WSL Fantasy League Competition. These terms and conditions supplement The Wave WSL Fantasy League Competition “Rules and Instructions” located here.  

 

  1. 1. The ‘promoter’ of The Wave WSL Fantasy League Competition is The Wave Group Limited, company number 10586504, with registered office One Glass Wharf, Bristol, United Kingdom BS2 0ZX referred to as ‘The Wave’.  
  2. 2. The Wave WSL Fantasy League Competition is open to all UK residents. The Wave staff shall also take part, but any prizes shall be issued to the highest positioned participant who is not an employee of The Wave, their families, agents or any third party associated with the administration of the draw.  
  1. 3. Any entrant under the age of 18 must have parental consent to enter the competition and will require parental consent to use the surf session included in the prize. 
  1. 4. The Wave WSL Fantasy League Competition is free to enter and entrants do not need to make any purchase. To participate in The Wave WSL Fantasy League Competition, you must register for an account at ctfantasy.worldsurfleague.com. Your registration will allow you to become the owner of a Fantasy Surf team which can then enter The Wave league. 
  1. 5. You can register at any time to play the game. 
  1. 6. The Wave accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost or delayed for any reason or for entries not successfully submitted due to any kind of technical fault. 
  1. 7. Prizes will be awarded for the combined performance across the men’s and women’s events. The owner of the Fantasy Surf team with the most number of points at the end of each event category will win a prize, as well as the winner of the WSL main season event.  
  1. 8. The Wave will announce the winners on Instagram. The winner must direct message The Wave with a screenshot of their winning account. If the winner does not respond within 14 days of notification, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and the runner up will receive the prize. 
  1. 9. The team that scores the most points on each stage of the championship tour will receive a free surf session at The Wave. The winner of the overall league will win a surf bundle of 4 surfs. The use of the surf session(s) will be subject to The Wave’s standard booking terms and conditions from time to time.  
  1. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is or will be offered.  
  1. 10. Any decision of The Wave regarding any aspect of the prize draw will be final and binding. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into about it.  
  1. 11. The last name of the winners will be made available on request to legal@thewave.com. By entering the competition you acknowledge that we may share your last name.  
  1. 12. Personal data supplied in the course of entering The Wave WSL Fantasy League Competition will only be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and as explicitly stated in these terms and conditions.  
  1. 13. By entering The Wave Fantasy Surfing Competition, all participants agree to be bound by and comply with these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to refuse entry or to refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of any of the terms and conditions referred to above.  

 

The Wave Black Friday Bundle Terms and Conditions

  1. 1. This promotion is valid for Wave Bundles purchased between 24th November 2023 and 27th November 2023.
  2. 2. To participate in this promotion, simply purchase your Wave Bundle in the usual way.
  3. 3. If you purchase an Adult or Child Wave Bundle X4, the expiry date for your Bundle will be extended from 3 months after date of purchase to 6 months after date of purchase.
  4. 4. If you purchase an Adult or Child Wave Bundle X 10, 25 or 50, you will receive the following “bonus” credits to your account, free of charge.
  • Wave Bundle X 10 – 1 bonus session
  • Wave Bundle X 25 – 3 bonus sessions
  • Wave Bundle X 50 – 5 bonus sessions
  1. 5. All bonus sessions will be added to your account at the time of purchase.
  2. 6. No cash alternative is available.
  3. 7. The opening date for the promotion is 00:01 on 24th November 2023. The closing date of the promotion is 00:00 on 24th All purchases made outside this time-period will not qualify.
  4. 8. The Wave Bundle Terms and Conditions apply to your purchase, except as amended by these Black Friday Bundle Terms and Conditions.
