Here are the terms and conditions which apply to The “Instagram Giveaway December 2021 .” Please read these terms carefully as they contain important items entrants should know. These terms are final, and winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements.

| Winners & communication | 1 winner will be randomly selected and will be contacted by the “Organiser” The Wave via a Direct Message on Instagram (@thewave). |
| Prize(s) | The winner will be awarded with the following items: A brand-new Go Pro Hero 10 camera and a £100 Gift Voucher to spend at The Wave, subject to availability. |
| Prize value | The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Prize is between £480 – £530. |
| How to Enter | The entrant shall follow The Wave (@thewave) and Go Pro UK (@goprouk) on Instagram, like the specified post and tag another Instagram user in the comments of the specified post for a chance to win the prize. No entry fee or purchase required. |
- Who can enter?
The “Promotion” is open to any Instagram user resident of Great Britain. Entrants must be over 16 years old on the date of their entry. Any entrant under the age of 18 must have parental consent to enter the giveaway, and we will require parental consent to use the giveaway prize.
The “Promotion” is not open to employees of The Wave, their families, agents or any third party associated with the administration of the draw.
- How do I enter?
The entrant shall follow The Wave (@thewave) and GoPro UK (@goprouk) on Instagram, like the specified post and tag another Instagram user in the comments of the specified post for a chance to win the prize. No entry fee or purchase required.
The entrant may entry the “Promotion” multiple times by tagging different Instagram users in the comments. Duplicated entries won’t be considered.
The Organiser and the Sponsor will not be held liable for any failure of receipt of entries. Neither the Organiser nor the Sponsor take responsibility for any entry
which is incomplete or invalid.
- How is the winner picked?
The “Prize” will be awarded to a randomly selected user who had followed all the steps to enter the “Promotion” on Instagram. The winner will be picked using Simpliers, a random giveaway picker online platform.
The winner will be randomly selected on Wednesday 22th December 2021. The winner will be contacted by The Wave (@thewave) via Direct Message on Instagram. We will never ask to click to any link or request any money beforehand to claim the prize.
If the winner doesn’t respond within 48 hours, the winner will be deemed not to have accepted the prize and another winner will be drawn.
- The “Prize”
The winner will be awarded with a brand-new Go Pro Hero 10 camera and a £100 Gift Voucher. The £100 Gift Voucher can be used towards any surf session or lesson at The Wave, any item in The Wave retail shop and at The Wave Café.
The £100 Gift Voucher will be valid for 12 months, expiring on the 22th of December 2022. Travel to and from The Wave is not included.
When using the £100 Gift Voucher to book surf sessions or lessons at The Wave, these will be subject to the Wave’s Booking Terms and Conditions, which can be found here: https://www.thewave.com/booking-terms-and-conditions/
The “Prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. In the unlikely event of the “Prize” not being available for any reason, the “Organiser” reserves the right to substitute that prize for a prize of equal or higher value.
- 5.How to redeem the “Prize”
The winner will be contacted by The Wave (@thewave) via Direct Message and will be asked to provide The Wave with a UK postal address to send the “Prize” to.
The Wave will arrange the delivery of the “Prize” and will be responsible for all delivery costs. The “Prize” will be posted tracked and it will request a signature on delivery. The Wave and GoPro are not liable in the unlikely event the “Prize” is lost in transit or damaged.
The winner will receive a brand-new GoPro Hero 10 and a £100 Gift Card to spend at The Wave at the address provided.
The £100 Gift Voucher can be used online to book any surf session or lesson. To redeem the Gift Voucher online, simply visit The Wave website at www.thewave.com and choose your preferred session, date, and time. You can add as many lessons or sessions as desired.
At the checkout, please enter your 18-digit alpha-numeric code in the ‘redeem voucher’ box code. Please do not enter the code into the ‘promo code’ box, or the voucher won’t be recognised.
The £100 Gift Voucher can also be used on site at The Wave retail shop and The Wave Café for both Food and Beverage.
The £100 Gift Voucher will be valid for 12 months, expiring on the 20th of December 2022.
