The Wavethe inland surfing destination in Bristol – has this week launched bookings for its new accommodation, The Camp at The Wave. Wake to the sound of waves in one of the 25 furnished tents, located just a short walk from the shore of the surfing lake.

Stays from £105 per tent per night (£200 per tent per night in peak summer season). Tents sleeps up to 8 people, with a two-night minimum stay in the week and three-night minimum stay over weekends. To find out more and book visit

The Camp at The Wave celebrates the simple things in life and is a space where you can relax, reset and reconnect. It’s perfect for couples, families or groups of friends looking to escape the everyday, connect with nature, enjoy great food, spend quality time with loved ones, and of course surf until you drop!

The tents pay homage to the surfing spirit of adventure. They are built to withstand the elements and are kitted out with comfortable beds, a kitchenette with hot water, private toilet, fridge, large balcony area at the front, and wood burner for chillier evenings.

Open all year round, The Wave is located in a beautiful rural site on the edge of Bristol, close to the M5. It’s the first inland surfing destination of its kind in the world, powered by Wavegarden Cove technology, which provides up to 1,000 waves of varying sizes and shapes an hour. With heights starting at 50cm and peaking at almost 2m there is something for everyone, from a child stepping on a board for the first time, to a pro surfer training for the Olympics. Every aspect of the surfing experience, from perfect waves and supportive coaching, to tried and tested wetsuits and boards, has been designed to ensure that surfing really is fun for all.The Wave is not just about surfing.
