Intermediate surfers aged 6+ who can swim 25m unaided, are comfortable outside of their depth and have surf experience.

The Intermediate Plus Wave
The Intermediate Plus session allows you to build confidence on familiar territory before stepping up to Advanced waves during the second half of the set.
This session starts on an Intermediate open-face wave with a gentle take-off, allowing you to find your rhythm and settle into the water. As the session progresses into the second half, the intensity increases into a faster, steeper Advanced wave.
Is this wave for me?
Designed for confident Intermediate surfers with a strong pop-up, this session is ideal for those ready to introduce their first maneuvers. Because this session takes place in The Reef section at the back of the lake, you must be comfortable surfing in deep water. If you aren’t quite ready for the steeper drops of the second half, we recommend building your confidence on our standard Intermediate wave or joining an Intermediate Plus lesson.
