The Wave Bundles Terms and Conditions

  1. 1. These terms and conditions apply to the following products (together, “The Wave Bundles” and each a “Wave Bundle”):
  • Adult Wave Bundle X 4
  • Child Wave Bundle X 4
  • Adult Wave Bundle X 10
  • Child Wave Bundle X 10
  • Adult Wave Bundle X 25
  • Child Wave Bundle X 25
  • Adult Wave Bundle X 50
  • Child Wave Bundle X 50

 

  1. 2. The Wave Bundles cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or discount.
  2. 3. Except for cancellations during the “Cooling-Off Period” (see below), The Wave Bundles cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
  3. 4. The General Terms and Conditions for Promotions and Discounts apply to The Wave Bundles.
  4. 5. To participate in this promotion, simply purchase your Wave Bundle online or over the phone. A PDF confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide. The PDF contains instructions on how to access your Wave Bundle.
  5. 6. Once you have purchased your Wave Bundle, your account will be credited with your chosen amount of surfs (4, 10, 25 or 50) that can be used to book any session in the lake. All non-lake activities are excluded from the promotion.
  6. 7. If you have purchased an Adult Wave Bundle it can only be used to book adult surf sessions. If you have purchased a Child Wave Bundle it can only be used to book child surf sessions.
  7. 8. The following validity periods apply to The Wave Bundles:
  • Wave Bundle x 4 – expires 3 months after date of purchase.
  • Wave Bundle x 10 – expires 6 months after date of purchase.
  • Wave Bundle x 25 – expires 12 months after date of purchase.
  • Wave Bundle x 50 – expires 12 months after date of purchase.
  1. 9. Bookings for surf sessions as part of the bundle must be made by the expiry date stated in your PDF confirmation. Any surf sessions that have not been booked by this time will be removed from your account.
  2. 10. We cannot guarantee availability, so we strongly advise you to book your sessions as early as possible.
  3. 11. You are strictly prohibited from re-selling any surf sessions purchased as part of the Wave Bundle without our prior written consent. You are not permitted to combine any surf session with any hospitality, travel or accommodation service, merchandise or any other such package. You are not permitted to use any surf session as a competition prize. Any breach of this condition will make any associated bookings void.
  4. 12. If you need to change or cancel a booking made as part of the Wave Bundle, please contact our Customer Services team at least 7 days prior to your booked session and we will make every effort to change the booking for you. If we are unable to change your booking, we will credit the cancelled surf session to your account. If your request is received less than 7 days prior to the booked session, no refund or credit shall be provided, and we shall not be obliged to change your booking. No cash refunds will be available for bookings made as part of the Wave Bundle.

 

Cancellation and Refunds

The purchaser of a Wave Bundle is entitled to a 14-day “cooling-off” period. If you wish to return your Wave Bundle, please email hello@thewave.com within 14 days of purchase with a copy of your original receipt and we will issue you with a full refund.
The right to a refund during the 14-day “cooling-off” period only applies if the Wave Bundle has not been used to book a surf during the 14-day “cooling-off” period. If you use your Wave Bundle to book a surf during the 14-day “cooling-off” period, you will lose your right to a refund, even if the booked session has not yet taken place.
