Seven Weeks of Summer Giveaway Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

 These terms and conditions explain the rules for participating in our Seven Weeks Of Summer Giveaway. Please read these carefully before entering the prize draw.  

1. The ‘promoter’ of the Seven Weeks Of Summer Giveaway Prize Draw is The Wave Group Limited, company number 10586504, with registered office One Glass Wharf, Bristol, United Kingdom BS2 0ZX referred to as ‘The Wave’. 

1. The Seven Weeks Of Summer Giveaway Prize Draw is open to all UK residents aged 13 or over, except employees of The Wave, their families, agents or any third party associated with the administration of the draw.

1. Any entrant under the age of 18 must have parental consent to enter the competition and will require parental consent to use the surf session if one is included in the prize. 

1. The Seven Weeks Of Summer Giveaway Prize Draw is free to enter and entrants are automatically included if they make a purchase of a ticket for any surfing product. Every ticket will equate to one entry in the prize draw.

1. The opening date for entries is midnight on 15July 2022.

1. The closing date for entries is 11.59pm on 4 September 2019 (the “Closing Date”). Entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted.

1. There are seven prize draws over the seven week giveaway period, one prize draw for each week. The first weekly prize draw period will run from midnight on 15th July 2022 and will close at 11:59pm on Sunday 24th July 2022. Sunday at 11:59pm will mark the end of each subsequent weekly prize draw period and the start of the next. 

1. The Wave accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost or delayed for any reason or for entries not successfully submitted due to any kind of technical fault.

1. A prize will be awarded to the first four valid entrants randomly drawn after the Closing of each weekly prize draw period. The draw will be made by an automated system, drawing winners at random. 

1. The winners will be notified by e-mail, from marketing@thewave.com, no later than the Thursday following the previous weekly prize draw period. If the winner does not respond within 14  days of notification, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited. We will be entitled to select another winner in line with the process described above. The winner will NOT be contacted via social media.

1. The winning entrant will receive one of the four prizes listed for that weekly prize draw period.

1. Where the prize includes a surf experience, the use of the surf lesson will be subject to The Wave’s standard booking terms and conditions, available at www.thewave.com and updated from time to time.

1.  The prize will be made available for the winner to pick up from The Wave site upon their next visit, or sent to the winner within 30 days of being notified of their win if requested.

1. In the unlikely event that the prize (or any one or more of its constituent elements) is unavailable, we reserve the right to provide a similar prize of equal or greater value.  

1. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is or will be offered.

1. Any decision of The Wave regarding any aspect of the prize draw will be final and binding. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into about it. 

1. The last name and county of the winners will be made available after the Closing Date on request to marketing@thewave.com. By entering the competition, you acknowledge that we may share your last name and county in which you are resident. If you wish us not to share this information please contact us at marketing@thewave.com

1. The winner and their family may be asked to participate in publicity.  

1. Personal data supplied in the course of entering Seven Weeks of Summer Giveaway – Prize Draw will only be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and as explicitly stated in these terms and conditions.

1. By entering the Seven Weeks of Summer Giveaway – Prize Draw, all participants agree to be bound by and comply with these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to refuse entry or to refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of any of the terms and conditions referred to above.
