The Safari Tents
Set in a private field close to the waves The Camp at The Wave offers 25 safari tents, for up to 8 people each. It is the perfect space to escape, chill out, connect, sleep and reset. Just metres away you’ll find the surf lake, as well as our welcoming Clubhouse, complete with cafe-bar, surf shop and more.
Glamping in style
Our tents pay homage to the surfing spirit of adventure and the pioneers who inspire us. They are located just metres from the surf, allowing you to awake to the sounds of the waves each morning and focus on the simple things in life.
Upgrade to a Premium Safari tent and enjoy insulation, in-room heating, and your own private shower, because after a day on the waves, you’ve earned it.
All of our tents can be accessed by wheelchair and we have 2 DDA compliant tents.
Built to withstand the elements and are kitted out with comfortable beds, a kitchenette with hot water, private toilet, fridge and large balcony area at the front. They can sleep up to 8* people with a double bed, two sets of bunk beds which are suitable for adults as well as children, and a sofa bed. Just a short walk away from The Camp you’ll find purpose-built shower facilities.
*Our DDA compliant tents sleep up to 6 with 2 single beds instead of 2 bunkbeds.

Our standard tents sleeps 6: 1 x double bed, 2 x bunk beds.
Our DDA accessible tent sleeps 4: 1 x double bed, 2 x single beds, fully accessible, additional space and roll under kitchenette.

- Feel free to drive down to The Camp to unload your gear. We provide one dedicated parking space per tent in our Camp car park. If your group has additional vehicles, please head over to the main car park where there is plenty of extra space

Important
- As much as we love them, we don’t allow pets on The Wave site
- Please note, we do not allow BBQs or fires
- We have WIFI available in every tent
- To make sure everyone has a brilliant stay with us, we ask you to keep talking and music at a level which will not disturb your neighbours
- Full payment is required when booking
- Accommodation bookings do not include surf sessions or surf lessons
