Terms and Conditions – Waves of the UK: The Wave Academy Social Media Competition.

 

Hosted and owned by The Wave, Bristol

Competition Period: 9th – 15th June 2026

 

  1. Promoter

 

The promoter: Sea Level Wave Co Limited, registered office at The Wave Washingpool Farm, Main Road, Easter Compton, Bristol, England, BS35 5RE (“The Wave”) (“Promotor”)

 

  1. Eligibility

 

2.1 The competition is open to UK citizens

2.2 Entrants must be 18 or older

2.3 Employees of The Wave, their immediate families, or anyone connected to the administration of the competition are not eligible to enter.

 

  1. Entry Requirements

 

3.1 Entries must engage with the competition’s social media post by; like, tag in comments, sharing to stories and following The Wave on Instagram.

3.2 Entries submitted after 23:59 on 15th June 2026 will not be considered.

 

  1. Prize

 

4.1 The prize includes 1 space on The Wave Academy, Improver Progression Weekend and 1 night stay in The Field Campsite at The Wave.

4.2 The Prize must be redeemed on the weekend of the 4-5th of July 2026.

4.3 The Prize is non exchangeable and no cash alternative will be given.

 

 

  1. Data Protection

 

5.1 Personal data provided will be processed by The Wave in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

 

  1. Liability

 

6.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Wave shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury incurred in connection with participation in the competition or use of the prize.

 

 

  1. Cancellation or Amendment

 

7.1 The Wave reserves the right to cancel, amend or suspend the competition where necessary due to events beyond its reasonable control.

7.2 Any changes will be communicated via The Wave’s official channels.

 

  1. Governing Law

 

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
