How do i get to the wave?
The Wave is just outside of Bristol, just off junction 17 of the M5, you can follow these instructions on how to get here.
Important: if you are coming for a surf, you need to be on site at least 60 minutes before your surf session starts.
What can i do at the wave?
There’s always something going on at The Wave, both in and out of the water! Make sure you leave plenty of time to experience everything that’s on offer, whether that’s enjoying an ice cold drink on our roof top terrace, a waterside bite to eat from our Café-bar, letting the kids run wild on the play park, or skating on the skate ramp. We believe The Wave is for everyone, and we’ve designed our site with that in mind. Our goal is to make sure as many people as possible can enjoy their time here.
- Level access and paved paths throughout the site, including right around the lake and on the pier
- Lift access up to our roof terrace
- Limited number of blue badge parking spaces right outside the main building
- Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating
- Assistance dogs are welcome
- Wheelchair accessible toilets and a Changing Places toilet

There’s no entry fee to enjoy being by our waves, come along and explore!
- A fantastic Café-bar selling great food and drink all day long from lakeside brunch to evening meals.
- Shop, selling fins, leashes, wetsuits, accessories, clothes and more
- Children’s playpark
- Outdoor walks and seating areas
- On-site games including table tennis, volleyball, boules and garden games.
- Skate ramp
- Saunas (only in the winter months)
