It’s not all about surfing at The Wave! We believe in the power of getting outdoors, learning about nature, and play! Our children’s activities are great for little explorers wanting to have lots of fun.

At the moment our children’s activites are just on Saturday’s, starting from 9th April, at the following times:

10.30am: Wilderness Explorers

1pm: Eco Arts and Crafts

3pm: Story and Activity Time

Wilderness Explorers

Calling all Junior Adventures! Join our Wavemakers for a fun-filled voyage of discovery through our green fields and paths discovering the beasts and bugs that inhabit The Wave. Complete with bug hunting kits and Wilderness Explorer adventure pack.

Head into our Nature Trail where the Wilderness Explorers will be taking a closer look at the wonderful wildlife who call the land around The Wave home. A great introduction to the outdoors, this session will help little ones aged 4-6 build confidence, learn new skills, and socialise with others while learning about the magic of nature.

Eco Arts and Crafts

Combining the wonders of nature with creativity, Eco Arts and Crafts takes you deep into nature where you’ll use the inspiration of The Wave’s surroundings and materials to create your own master pieces.

As part of the activities, waste such as plastic bottles and cardboard will be repurposed into items that can be used to help encourage nature to feed, hide or play.

It’s a great chance to get outdoors and discover a new way to explore and enjoy our surroundings. Using items only found in the woodland, together you’ll create an array of different crafts including leaf mascots and forest masks.

Story and Activity Time

Come join our Wavemakers and read and listen to some of the most loved children books. Then join in with some fun activities and sing some songs to finish the day in the best possible way.
